When should I bring my child in for an exam?
This is one of the most common questions I am asked as an optometrist. If your child has never been seen by an eye doctor, I recommend bringing them in for their first eye exam. A child's first eye exam can be completed between 6 and 12 months of age. Early detection is key to quickly correct any issues that may impact their learning or development.
